Middleville Sun Newspapers - 1896 & 1897

These old newspapers are a treasure!  They date between 1890 and 1914.  Unfortunately they are not available to all who would like to see them.  They are also very fragile. For those researching genealogy, these papers are full of goings on, listing family names and activities. These newspapers were very inclusive and covered a very large area;  Middleville, Caledonia, Wayland, Hastings, Irving, Rutland, Leighton, Thornapple, Allegan, etc.  As well as national news. This project was done in conjunction with the school's newspaper collection. People can view two years of the Sun and News on line!
